How to grow longer hair faster..?

I'm being Suki a Keyoshi Warrior from Avatar the Last Airbender. So I'm dieing my hair brown and cutting it shoulder length when its usually almost hip length.

The brown hair will last 4-6 weeks I'm just wondering if their's any food, condition/shampoo that will help my hair grow back fast too.

Hair grows about and half inch a month. Taking multi-vitamins and drinking good amount of water will help and just plain eating good will keep your hair healthy and help it grow. One thing I've found the makes your hair and nails grow (on me anyways) is yogurt, I prefer the Yo plait Light, but i found this out in college when i was broke, i was going to school for hair and one of the few things i could afford was yogurt, i would eat about 2 a day and noticed after about a month that my nails had to be cut every week and a half!!! And my hair was growing about an inch a month which is INSANE. But you have to make sure you are getting your dead ends cut off because for one: if they get too bad they will break off, and its not the fact that your hair isn't growing anymore its the fact that your ends are breaking off and two: its really pointless to have long hair if its dead and frizzy and looks like crap right?

Their isn't going to be a quick fix, but one thing that I woud reccommend would be taking prenatal vitamins. Don't take them everyday, as you really dont need to, but take 1 every two days. It should take about a month or two to see any changes. It wont make your hair grow drastically faster, but slightly. Not to mention it makes the regrowth healthier and shinier, great for you nails and skin too.
