Can a regular pink pig grow hair and tusks?

I hear that if you were to release a regular pink farm pig into the wild it would grown thick hooves and tusks and it would get hairy after only a few weeks. Is this true?

Yes, but it would take more than a few weeks.

Depending on the age and sex of the pig when it was released it is hard to say how long it would take.

even pot belly pigs get tusks...they need to be trimmed from time to time, so in the wild they would grow
