No its not true.

I don't know and have no idea how to find out, but I believe that would be quite a stretch.

you wonder where some of this stuff comes from. no, that would be false. i have hair on my back, and i have been a pro cyclist. if i had bad lungs would i have been able to excel at racing bikes? i dont think so.

How on earth would hair be problematic to your lungs? The only way hair could harm your lungs is if you have some stuck in your windpipe.

That statement being true would condemn whole populations of ethnic groups to having bad lungs. No, it is not true, not sure who came up with that strange idea. I for example unfortunately have heredity back hair, but I have tremendous lung capacity, much higher than average.
