I just got 3 inches cut off my hair and I'm wondering how long it will take for inch of that to grow back. And I have a fast/high metabolism.

Hair grows approximately 1/2 inch a month....so about 2 months for the 1 inch to be replaced.

it grows from the inside. only the root inside is alive.



good protein.. including beans whole grains fish poultry meat.



lots of fruits and veggies. a/c/e



and if you don't eat right add multi vitamins and minerals like rite aide whole source or target millennium,



not expensive.not necessary .



high doses, especially of fat soluble vitamins, are bad.bad.bad .



3 inches is 6 -10 months growth on average.



rate depends on genetics mostly..
