so, my boyfriend jokingly pointed out that i have dark hair on my lip. but he was serious. i mean, he was just like, "u have dark hair on ur lip." soooo.... yeah. i heard that there are like, waxing strips for lips, called coldWax or someting, just something i could buy at walgreens, (my mum says her friend uses them) but my friend trisha said that the hair on my lip will grow back thicker, and eventually when im like forty ill have really thick lip hair, and ill need to wax almost every day!!! help!

You can use sally hansen wax. No your hair wont grow that thcik when you are older. unless it is heredity, you can get it taken away permanently when you are older. This process is not expensive.

NO! It will not grow back thicker! Sally Hansen makes pre-waxed strips that are cheap and easy to use, and they have them at almost any store. I've been waxing my upperlip for nearly 10 years, and even when I don't wax for awhile, the hair is still barely visible. It is such a beauty myth. No offense, but your friend trisha is full of it.

the one time i waxed, i just wound up breaking out all over my upper lip.

the hair doesn't grow back thicker, you are born with a certain amount of hair follicles all over your body and they will produce the same type of hair for your whole life unless you get some disease to change it.

i think people think it grows back thicker because they just start paying more attention to it after they start waxing, shaving, etc.

(my mother would--from her friends) But, Don't use Nair on your face. My mom said it's not a good idea and she said ( It made one of her girlfriends other hair on her face fall out instead of her lip hair's. Mom used Nair on her legs and some other hair fell out and hasn't grown back. lol
