What's the best way to let your own hair color grow back without ending up bi-color?

Okay, the first step i took was to dye it brown. It's been about 4 months and everything was ok. But now, the part of my hair that has been dyed before is loosing color, fading into a lighter, duller brown. I want to let my color grow out, so i don't want to dye it all over again. But, do i have any other choice? Help!

why not go to a hairdresser and ask for them to die it back to your natural clolour?

youll have to cut it and let it grow back out i was just telling someone else not to color there hair because its a mistake, its taken me 3 years to get mine back to healthy and normal, if you dont wanna cut it all off just keep trimming it a little at a time until it all grows back, good luck
