i am pregnant right now and i am taking prenatals and my hair is growing really fast. so i would say take the prenatal vitamins and it is very safe for you to take even if you aren't pregnant.

Take prenatal vitamins. It works better and they have more vitamins in it.

If you want your hair to grow longer than I would say to trim your hair every two weeks but dont cut to much off just a little bit.

prenatal vitamins are ok but the problem is that people don't usually absorb all the vitamins because they're in solid pill form. I personally take chewable vitamins (I take 'viactive' but there are other kinds). I used to take liquid vitamins (can be found at health food stores) but it was expensive and GROSS tasting. I don't mind the viactive ones because they're chocolate chews (they have a few other flavors as well) and because of that I don't dread taking them. I have noticed a great difference in taking them, too.

Just so you know there are vitamins out there especially for growing your hair thicker or longer or whatever but I don't know how good they are. 4 inches in 4 months is very unlikely, but if you really need to you can always get hair extensions. I would use a weft if I were you because it's the safest and the easiest to put in and take out (plus it's re-usable if you take care of it well so you can always have it around.)

I hate to say this, but you won't be able to grow your hair 4 inches in a matter of 4 months no matter what you do if your hair doesn't already grow fast.

Hair grows and average 6 inches in length per year. Trimming the ends of your hair doesn't make it grow longer faster. It gets rid of the damaged ends preventing the ends from breaking off and hence your hair gets longer.

Most people think that the more you trim the faster it grows when their hair is short. The thing is, you just notice how much your hair grows when it's short because it is short versus when it's long.
